The Morrison Brothers:

Drawing on their musical roots in Nashville, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C., The Morrison Brothers Band play a unique brand of country/rock music. Founded in 2007 by brothers Truman and Willie Morrison, the group's award-winning sound took form in their hometown of Washington, DC with the additions of brothers Matt and Kevin Nolan. The band is currently based out of Nashville and is performing regularly in the Eastern, Mid-Western, and Southern U.S. In the last few years, The Morrison Brothers Band has opened for Merle Haggard, Leon Russell, Frankie Ballard, Maggie Rose, Old Dominion and Big Smo, and shared stages with many of the biggest acts in country music today from Alan Jackson to Alison Krauss to Tim McGraw. In 2014, with over 8,000 submissions worldwide, the band won 1st place in the country category in the "Unsigned Only" music competition for their song "Little Miss Whiskey" off their album State of the Union. The band also recently wrote and recorded the new theme song for The Washington Capitals for Comcast Sports Net, and their video for the song can be seen on television prior to games. The Morrison Brothers highly anticipated new EP, produced by nationally renowned recording artist Maggie Rose, is due to be released in April 2016 and will feature both the group’s own original songs as well as a handful of others from several of Nashville’s most lauded writers.

Lexi Wyman

Eighteen year old North Dakota native Lexi Wyman, has been singing and writing songs since the age of seven, influenced by her love of country music and life on her farm in Newburg. Picking up the guitar at twelve she began to follow a path that lead to a strong commitment to songwriting by the time she was fourteen. Soon after that in August 2012, she attended the Big Sky Songwriters Festival where she was coached and mentored by some of the biggest songwriters in Country and Pop music. Attending again in December 2013, it had become apparent to the mentors that she was quickly developing as a songwriter/artist, and the decision to take the next step and record her music was made. In August 2014, she was asked to participate in the Miss Geographic Center scholarship pageant in Rugby, North Dakota, thinking it would be a great learning experience. Although her first pageant, she titled and was Miss Geographic Center 2015, which placed her in the 2015 Miss North Dakota pageant, winning recognition for highest gpa and best talent /non finalist.
Next up Lexi completed her self titled eleven song cd of her original songs for summer 2015 (released recently and available on I-tunes, CD Baby and more). Recorded in Bozeman, Montana and Nashville, Tennessee, Producer Dave Goodwin brought in A list musicians to join Lexi on the CD, featuring the likes of Bruce Bouton (Garth Brooks), Jim Kimball (Reba), John Bohlinger (Lee Brice) Ray Scott (“Drinkin Beer”) singing with her on “Drink For Two”, Kim Parent (Brooks and Dunn, Christopher Cross, Grand Ol Opry), Jack Sundrud (Poco,Great Plains) Chris Anderson (Blackhawk,Outlaws) and others including fellow North Dakotan Austin Pressler..
